We are pleased to announce the next CMNC workshop which will be held at San Jose State University on October 4 & 5, 2025.
This workshop will be similar to most of our other workshops in that we will have a full day of coaching on Saturday with Master Classes ending at 5:30 p.m., followed by the coaches’ concert, dinner, and optional freelancing until 10:00 p.m.
We are extremely pleased to have the Ives Collective, Hrabba Atlodottir, violin, Susan Freier, viola, Stephen Harrison, cello, and Keisuke Nakagoshi, piano, returning to perform our coaches’ concert.
Sunday will also be an all-day coached session ending at 4:00, followed by an optional performance sampler ending about 5:15.
The application/payment deadline is Saturday, August 23 .

Notification of acceptance status and music assignments to non-preformed groups will be sent out via email about two weeks before the workshop.
Many people have worked numerous hours to make the workshop possible and will be available on-site to support you, including the CMNC board, facility representatives, a librarian, and coaches. We are particularly appreciative of our music coordinator, Terrie Baune, who puts together groups and assignments. We hope you enjoy the event and invite other musicians who are new to CMNC workshops to join us.
